Airports Nearby
Florence (FLR) is the closest airport to Montespertoli, approximately 40 minutes away by car.
Pisa (PSA) is another good option, especially if Florence flights are limited or more expensive for your itinerary.
Rome Fiumicino (FCO) is the largest international gateway and may offer the most convenient long-haul routing for many guests traveling from the U.S., even if it requires a train or car transfer afterward.
In many cases, Florence and Pisa work best via a connection, while Rome can be the easiest entry point for transatlantic travel.
Getting to the Venue
We recommend renting a car, arranging a taxi/private transfer, or using the wedding shuttle if you request it during RSVP.
If you fly into Rome, the high-speed train to Florence is typically the easiest next step before heading into Tuscany.
If you are not renting a car, we recommend coordinating with other guests staying in Florence or at the venue to share transfers whenever possible.
Many guests will likely gather in Florence on Sunday evening before the wedding events, so arriving there first may be the easiest way to coordinate transportation.
Please do not rely on Uber in Tuscany. Taxis and pre-arranged transfers are a better plan.
Shuttle Service
For guests who request it on the RSVP, shuttle transportation to and from Florence will be provided for select wedding events.
If you would like to use the shuttle, please indicate that in your RSVP.
Shuttle requests must be submitted by June 30th to guarantee a seat.
Final pickup times, meeting points, and return details will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.
